Telangana state was formed as the 29th state in the country with the slogan of water, funds and rules. The struggle of students in OU and the death of some activists gave rise to the movement. Then it disappeared. Prof. Jayashankar sir spoke loudly about the formation of Telangana state. At this time, in 2001, KCR resigned from the post of Deputy Speaker. The Telangana Movement was started.
