Town developmental activities monitored by – Municipal chairperson
The President of the Municipality Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani supervised the various development works and reconstruction works of the canal being carried out in the ground of the Government Junior College on 11.11.2022.
In this regard, Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, President of Municipal Association said that
Chief Minister KCR said that Telangana is taking the state forward in terms of development in all fields such as sports, education, industry and medicine by providing infrastructure for the welfare of the people and organizing welfare schemes.
Similarly, Minister KTR, with a determination to develop the Government Junior Boys College Ground for the convenience of the people in the town, has established a Cricket Ground, Volleyball Court, Tennis Court, Walking Tracks and Sports Grounds with a sum of Rs.2 crores. He said that the ground will be equipped with all facilities for the players, public and sports fans and will be made available to the public.
He also said that government is working tirelessly for the development of sports in Rajannasircilla district by establishing a mini stadium and a volleyball academy in the 23rd ward of Sircilla.
In addition to this, the people living in those areas are facing serious problems due to the intense flow of water from the canals in Venkampet, Padma Nagar, Sanjeevayya Nagar, etc., When there is little rain in the town, the rain water is stagnant in the old bus stand area near Sanjeevayya Nagar, which is becoming a serious problem for the motorists.
Therefore, Minister KTR said that to find a permanent solution to these problems, he discussed with the members of the governing body to solve the problem so that there is no problem with rain water in the future and they are working to rebuild the canal with the funds of about 6 crores.
As a part of that, the management quality standards of government college ground development works and canal culvert construction works were examined on 11.11.2022 and instructed the contractor to finish work in time.
