Transparent lucky draw for liquor shops

RSD-Sircilla news: Collector in-charge Garima Agrawal clarified that the lucky draw for liquor shops tender was conducted transparently. The open draw for the liquor shops tenders, which will continue till 2025-2027 in the district, was held on 27.10.2025 in the auditorium of the district integrated offices complex, and the Collector in-charge was present. She spoke on the occasion and revealed that there are a total of 48 shops in the district, out of which 9 have been allocated to Goudas and 5 to SCs as per reservation. She said that the tender notification and applications were started on September 26^th 2025 and applications were received till October 23^rd 2025. It was revealed that a total of 1381 applications were received. She said that liquor shops will continue with new licenses from December 01^st 2025. She ordered that the shops should be operated as per the government rules. She advised that the license fee related to the shops should be paid. District Excise Officer Radhakrishna Reddy, Excise CIs Srinivas, Rajeshwar Rao, staff and others participated in the program.
