RSD- Sircilla news: On 08.07.2025, a legal knowledge seminar was organized at the Panchayat Raj Guest House Complex in Gopal Nagar on the orders of DLSA Chairman and District Chief Justice C. Neeraj. Speaking on the occasion, District Legal Services Authority SecretaryRadhika Jaiswal made women aware of the key points of various women’s laws formulated for the safety and welfare of women who are facing many problems both at home and abroad. She mentioned laws related to domestic violence, dowry ban, and child marriage. She said that problems like family unrest due to irreconcilable problems and lack of adjustment between couples can be resolved under Legal Services Authority. She said that at a time when the process of achieving gender equality is moving forward, discrimination at any level can be protected from the law. At the same time, the court will also take strict action against those who misuse the opportunity provided by the law. Former municipal councilor Annaram Srinivas, President of the Bar Association Jupelli Srinivasa Rao, Lok Adalat members Aadepu Venu, Gurram Anjaneyulu, lawyers E. Jyothi, K. Tirupati, Alekhya, R Aruna, Gentyala Bhumesh and others spoke at the meeting held in collaboration with the former municipal councilor Annaram Srinivas. About 100 women from the 19th ward participated.
