RSD- Sircilla news: A man named Vegada Srinivas son of Sayanna,  a resident of Lingapur village in Nizamabad district, came to Sircilla and rented a room in Shantinagar in Sircilla and worked as a mason. On 26th February 2024, he went to Chandrampeta for work as a mason and forgot his vehicle at the old bus stand in Sircilla at around 6 pm in the evening and returned home. At around 11 am, he remembered that he left vehicle at the old bus stand in Sircilla and came to the old bus stand and saw that his vehicle was burnt. Srinivas complained that some unknown people had set his vehicle on fire at night. A case was registered as of attempted theft and burning the vehicle as lock did not open. Kancham Venu, age 42 years old, son of Narsaiah, a resident of Subhash Nagar Sircilla was arrested and sent to remand by SI Mallesham. After the investigation, the charge sheet was filed in the Court by the investigating officer yellagoud SI. CMS SI. Ravinder Naidu, and six (6) witnesses were presented by the court constable Vemula Naresh, while Public Prosecutor Chelumula Sandeep argued for the prosecution. After examining the facts of the case, Judge A. Praveen sentenced the accused Kancham Venu to (1) year rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 100, Sircilla Town CI Krishna said in a statement.
