46 CCTV cameras installed in the district
RSD- Sircilla news: On 15.11.2024, the minister virtually launched the 46 CCTV cameras installed in Sircilla and Vemulawada areas of the district at the IDOC premises along with Government Whip Adi Srinivas, Manakondur MLA Kavvampelli Satyanarayana, District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha and District SP Akhil Mahajan. CCTV cameras have been installed as a pilot project on the main roads in the district from Boinapalli to Jilella and from Rudrangi to Vemulawada. Soon, CCTV cameras will be installed from Yellareddypet to Peddamma check post in Gambhiraopet mandal. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, many revolutionary decisions will be taken to maintain peace and security in the state. The police will carry out their duties with the aim of protecting the money, honor and life of the people in the state, and due to strong law and order in the state, along with new investments in the state, employment opportunities for the youth will improve and significant development will take place in many fields. The Minister said that public representatives, businessmen and people should voluntarily come forward to install CCTV cameras in the district, that one CCTV camera is equal to 100 policemen, and that the role of CCTV cameras is crucial in controlling crime and maintaining peace and security. He said that the CCTV cameras installed in various areas in the district for crime control have been linked to the Command Control Center set up at the District Police Headquarters, and that any incidents that occur in the district can be identified through the CCTV cameras through command control. On this occasion, the Minister congratulated the district police machinery for implementing visible policing and the Village Police Officer system in a robust manner to prevent any law and order problems in the villages and towns of the district. Additional Collector Kheemya Nayak, Special Branch DSP Murali Krishna, and Vemulawada Town Inspector Veera Prasad participated in the program.
