5 arrested for obstructing police duties

RSD- Illanthakunta news: Harsh action against the policemen who interfered with the police duties is inevitable. Sircilla DSP Chandrasekhar said in a statement that a case has been registered and remanded against five persons who obstructed the duties of the police officers who went to stop them from disturbing the public by performing DJ against the rules in Arepalli village of Illanthakunta mandal. On this occasion DSP said that on the 23.08.2024, during Patrol it was informed that some persons were causing trouble to the people by running a DJ without permission in Arepalli village under Illanthakunta Police Station. SI Satish Kumar took the Blue Colt crew and told them to go to Arepalli village and stop the DJ. Burra Surya Goud, Burra Swamy, Charan of Arepalli, Neelam Mahipal Yadav of Sirikonda village and Potuganti Sanjay of Repaka all live here together. The on duty  SI and the staff were pushed when asked to stop DJ. A case was registered on the complaint of ASI Satish and Surya, Swami, Charan, Mahipal and Sanjay were arrested and taken to remand on 29.08.2024. Apart from that, Chityala Harish of Keshanapalli village has put a DJ against the rules and caused trouble to the people. The DSP said that a case was registered against Harish and the DJ was seized. The DSP warned that strict action should be taken against those who interfered with the police duties and misbehaved with the police officers and staff on duty. He warned that DJs are not allowed in the district and if the DJ conducts against the rules, the DJ will be seized and cases will be registered.
