RSD_ 5 Kg Ganja seized, three arrested, taken into remand at Vemulawada

RSD- Vemulawada news: SP said on this occasion that, a person named Vikas from the state of Uttar Pradesh brought 5 kg of ganja from the state of Odisha through two minors and met them in Jagdalpur and sold the ganja to the people addicted to ganja in Sircilla and Vemulawada towns at a high price and made easy money. s. According to the reliable information that they were coming to Vemulawada from Jagdhalpur by travel bus to Karimnagar from there by bus to Chintala thana suburb of Vemulawada , on 20.04.2024 at 5 pm near RTC bus depot of Chintala thana suburb of Vemulawada town police detained the three persons and interrogated them. The SP said that when they came to Vemulawada and said that they will sell it at a higher price to people who are addicted to ganja in different areas, 5 kg of ganja was seized from them and arrested and taken to remand on 21.04.2024.

The SP congratulated ID party constables Sami, Gopal, Srinivas, SI Anjaiah and CI Srinivas who showed talent in catching the ganja accused and gave rewards. On this occasion, the SP said that the district police department is working with the aim of eliminating ganja and drugs in the district. This year, 14 cases related to illegal ganja have been registered in the district and 39 people have been arrested and approximately five kg of ganja has been seized.  It is the youth who decide the future of the country, such youth are addicted to drugs and intoxicants like ganja and push their future, it is the responsibility of all of us to protect the future of such youth, information related to ganja intoxicants in the district can be messaged to the SP number 630-392-2572 or dial 100. , the district SP called on everyone to participate in the eradication of ganja and narcotic substances and make the district a ganja-free district.
