“Abhaya” MY AUTO IS SAFE for the safety and security of passengers

RSD – Vemulawada news: For the safety and security of the passengers, under the supervision of the district police department, the auto rickshaw services in the district collected and digitized the necessary documents and information from the vehicle owners and brought the compiled information in the form of “Abhaya” My Taxi Safe QR code and presented it to the State Minister KTR. SP said that it was started at the hands of KTR. District SP Akhil Mahajan attended the awareness program organized with the auto drivers and auto owners of the town at Vemulawada Town Police Station on 24.05.2023 and handed over Abhay QR code and insurance papers to the auto drivers.

SP said that along with the people of Vemulawada, thousands of devotees from different places come to visit Rajanna diety, for their protection, every auto in Vemulawada should be provided with a sticker with a QR code “Abhaya” My Auto is Safe on the back seat of the driver, to ensure safety in the auto. He said that it is the responsibility of the drivers to make the passengers believe that they are traveling.

Passengers are asked to scan the “QR Code” printed on the auto when they encounter any incident that they feel is not safe while traveling in the auto. After scanning, the details of the vehicle along with the driver’s photo and details will be available along with emergency call and emergency complaint options. When responding to an emergency call or text, the live location of the passenger vehicle will go to the command and control center, who will immediately respond to the nearby police and reach the live location of the vehicle. While traveling in an auto, the driver can complain through this app for misbehaving with passengers, rash driving, drunk and drive, hit and run. Similarly, passengers can also give a rating to the vehicle they are traveling in.

He said that auto drivers should follow the traffic rules and participate in traffic control and do not pick up passengers in the auto beyond the limit and action will be taken as per the law if rules are not followed.
