RSD-Vemulawada news: Darra Tirupati, the accused in Sirram Mahesh’s murder case that happened on the 02.04.2024, was arrested on 06.04.2024 and sent to remand. According to Vemulawada DSP Nagendra Chari, Sirram Mahesh from Kondapur village of Mustabad Mandal was married to Padma 12 years ago and they have two daughters. He was separated from his wife three years ago due to marital quarrels and now Sirram Mahesh is living alone. For the last six months he has been working as a laborer under Butti Srinivas of Bhagwantrao Nagar and living in in an asbestos room while Dhara Tirupati of Bhagwantrao Nagar is also working as a laborer for building masons and has become friends with Sirram Mahesh since the last four months. In Sirram Mahesh’s room Darra Tirupati is also staying as Tirupati is also living a single life. He got married and his wife left him many days ago due to quarrels. Tirupati is not paying the rent for staying in Sirram Mahesh’s room. Sirram Mahesh is harassing Darra Tirupati with direct words that he is staying free without rent. Darra Tirupati was mentally suffering by the words of Mahesh and used to tell Butti Srinivas that Mahesh says infront of other workers that if Mahesh does not let him stay in the room, he will have to live on the footpath because he cannot work because he is not allowed to stay in the room. On 01.04.2024 with the intention of killing Mahesh in any way keeping that matter in mind, on the night when Mahesh went to the room Tirupati made the deceased drink a lot of alcohol. While the deceased was intoxicated, the accused brought a big cement stone and hit the deceased several times on the face and fled from there. Vemulawada DSP Nagendra Chari said that according to reliable information on 06.04.2024, the accused was caught by Vemulawada in-charge CI Srinivas while checking the vehicle near the substation on Chekkapally road, the crime scene reconstruction was carried out and the accused’s clothes with blood stains hidden in the bushes and the cement stone used for the murder were seized and the accused was taken to remand. Incharge CI Srinivas and SI Anjaiah participated in the program.
