Accused sentenced to 07 years imprisonment for minor girl kidnapping & POCSO case
RSD- Vemulawada news: According to the details of the prosecution, Yaram Saikiran of Vemulawada town kidnapped and molested a minor girl of Vemulawada area on October 7th 2016 and the family members of the girl filed a complaint in the Vemulawada Town Police Station. Moved the case to the then investigating officer A. Srinivas DSP filed a charge sheet in the court. Then and now Court Monitoring SIs Srikanth, Shravan Yadav, Court Constable Mahender, Court Monitoring Constable Narender produced 14 witnesses in the court while Special PP Penta Srinivas argued and examined the antecedents of the case. Fast Track Special Judge for Expeditions Trial And Disposition of Rape and POCSO Act Cases Court Judge N. Premalatha sentenced the accused to 07 years imprisonment and a fine of 10,000 rupees, Vemulawada CI Karunakar said in a statement.
