Implementation of PD Act for terrorizing people in the name of ex-Naxalite

RSD- Sircilla news: Manuka Kuntaiah of Tippapur village of Vemulawada Urban Mandal who previously worked for the leftist extremist group Janashakti Party and later surrendered, interfered in land issues, threatened property owners and extorted money from innocent people. Even though he was accused in 08 cases and changed his activities, Vemulawada Town Police also opened a “Rowdy Sheet” against Kuntaiah. Even so, Kuntaiah continued his criminal activities and harassed people. Rajannasircilla District Collector Anurag Jayanthi gave orders to implement the PD Act on Manuka Kuntaiah. On the orders of District Collector Anurag Jayanthi and District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS, PD Act detention orders were handed over to Vemulawada Town CI Karunakar on Manuka Kuntaiah and the accused was taken to Charlapalli jail on 07-02-2024.
