All set for CESS elections polling – Rajannasirilla district

Rajannasirisilla District SP Rahul Hegde IPS informed that it is the responsibility of the police to ensure that the cess elections on 24.12.2022 are held in a peaceful atmosphere. The police officers and staff who are conducting security duties for the cess elections going to be held on 24.12.2022 met at the government junior college in Vemulawada town. SP advised the police officers that it is important that during the election, duties to be performed by the route security, polling station security and patrolling party police to be done in a dedicated way.

SP said in this regard that the security arrangements were made in 252 polling booths in 202 polling stations across the district based on polling booths located in problematic areas.  The  in-charge officer will be the staff who will ensure that the polling staff, materials and ballot boxes are delivered safely from the polling distribution center to the counting centers. Do not withdraw and should stay in the place assigned to the striking force and take care to prevent any untoward incidents from happening at all booths under their jurisdiction. The special striking force should keep a vigil on sensitive and hyper sensitive places. Section 144 will be in force at the polling place.

He said that it is the responsibility of all of us to create an environment where consumers can exercise their right to vote peacefully.
