The new district collectorate building complex is ready for inauguration. Rooms were allotted to the respective district offices and boards were set up. On the orders of the Collector, the officials of various departments along with the staff inspected the offices allotted to them on 15.05.2023. Four days ago, the collector of Vallur Kranti organized a special meeting with the officials to prepare the new collectorate building complex for the inauguration ceremony and divided the work. He said that there is a possibility that the date of the inauguration ceremony will be announced at any moment and accordingly, the arrangements should be prepared in advance. Discussions are going on that the opening ceremony is likely to be held after the 20th of this month. At present, the Priyadarshini Jurala project camp office in Gadwala is currently being used as the district collector’s community building. Initially, construction was undertaken with an estimated cost of Rs.30.88 crores. The estimated value has been increased to Rs.52.18 crores. 36 district level offices of various departments have been built on three floors in the integrated building. In addition to the collector’s office, additional collectors’ offices, rest hall, video conference hall, district level officers’ offices on the first and second floors have been completed.
