Eye treatment camp for all private passenger vehicle drivers in the district under the District Police Department

An eye treatment camp was organized for the drivers of the district as part of the Kanti Velugu program organized by Chief Minister of Telangana State KCR

District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS started the eye test camp organized at Kalyana Lakshmi function hall in Sircilla on 16.05.2023, conducted eye tests and provided glasses to the drivers as part of the eye test.

In Sircilla and Vemulawada towns of the district, as part of the Kanti Velugu program, an eye camp was organized with the cooperation of the district health department and all the drivers of private passenger vehicles in the district were called and eye examinations were conducted for all. SP said that with the aim of reducing road accidents in the district, eye examinations were conducted as a part of the eye examination program organized by Chief Minister of Telangana state for the divers of private passenger vehicles in the district. He said that if there is any problem, it should be treated according to the doctor’s instructions and advice, and if there is an eye problem, eye glasses should be used.

He said that auto drivers should drive vehicles with discipline and follow road safety rules and be participants in traffic control. He said that if people are picked up in the auto above the limit, action will be taken as per the law. QR code scanner has been installed in every auto. He said that it is a crime to drive vehicles under the influence of alcohol and if caught in drunk and drive, the vehicles will be seized and driver will be sent to jail.

He said that traffic rules should be followed while driving, helmet must be worn, talking on cell phone and traffic rules should not be violated. Do not sit carelessly while driving and do pay attention to the conditions and surroundings, passengers will trust you and travel in your vehicles. He said that adequate measures are being taken to prevent road accidents in the district, an SI level officer has been appointed in the district and the people and youth in the villages are being made aware of road safety rules and traffic rules.
