RSD- Vemulawada news: In the district police office, trainee IPS Rahul Reddy, additional SP Chandraya and police officials held a review meeting with the police officers on 06.03.2024 to maintain calm atmosphere of the Mahashivratri fair and the procedures to be taken to avoid any trouble to the devotees. SP said on this occasion that the officials were ordered to ensure that the devotees from different states and faraway places do not face any security problems in the background of Mahashivratri Jatara celebrations being held for 3 days from March 7th 2024 to March 9th 2024 in Vemulawada Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy Devasthanam which is known as Dakshina Kashi.

During the Mahashivratri fair, a strict security system has been established with 1400 police personnel, the entire fair premises should be under the control of CCTV cameras, officials of all departments, officials and staff from other districts should coordinate their duties and ensure that there is no trouble for the devotees. He said that in view of the increase in the number of devotees this time, 8 parking spaces have been set up, and that measures have been taken to ensure that the vehicles coming for the fair are parked only in the parking spaces and staff have been arranged accordingly. He said that traffic management will be in the first place during the fair, keeping in mind the past experiences and taking appropriate measures to prevent traffic problems by allocating staff accordingly. DSPs Chandrasekhar Reddy, Nagendrachari, Gangadhar, CIs, RIs and SIs participated in this meeting.
