Sexual abuse of student by Shi Chaitanya Lecturer

RSD- Bachupally news: An incident of attempted rape on a girl studying intermediate by a lecturer in Sri Chaitanya College, Bachupalli, was reported. According to the information of the local student union leaders, a girl studying Junior Intermediate in Bachupalli Sri Chaitanya Girls Campus has travelled in the bus arranged by the college to write the Inter-First year Exam on 04.03.2024. It is reported that Mahesh, a lecturer from the same college who was on the bus while returning from writing the exam, sexually abused a minor girl and tried to rape her. The girls in the bus realized about his behavior and beat him and informed the principal of the college about the incident. The lecturer Mahesh and the in-charge Brahmaiah were removed from their duties. Thinking that if the matter came out, the reputation of the college would be lost and the college would face problems, the management did not file a complaint in police station.  As no complaint has been filed, the student unions are suspecting that the college owners are in collusion with the police. They protested in front of the college on 06.03.2024. They demanded that a case to be registered in the police station and the accused should be severely punished.
