Arrest of the accused for illegal transport of ganja

Details of Ganja accused
1.Madavi Digambar s/o Bhimarao Age 27y, Gond Rupapur Wada Village, Gaidiguda Mandal, Adilabad District.
2.Thuram Amrit Rao s/o Maru Age 22 Years Rupavada Village Gaidiguda Mandal Adilabad District.
3.Kranti, Thangalapalli (absconding.)
On this occasion, SP said
that, a person named Kranti from Tangalapally mandal brings illegal ganja from various places and sells it to people who are addicted to ganja for money. As part of that two persons Madavi Digambar and Thuram Amrit Rao from Rupavada village of Gaidiguda mandal of Adilabad district, they used to illegally bring ganja from Adilabad district to Kranti on 09.08.2024. On the information that they were coming to Amba Temple in the outskirts of Tangallapally village to sell the ganja, Tangallapally SSI Sudhakar and police personnel went there and found two suspicious persons and detained them and checked them. He said that he had brought ganja through us in the past too. Madhavi Digambar and Thuram Amrit Rao have been remanded on 09.08.2024 and Kranti, who is absconding, will be caught soon, said the SP.
On this occasion, the SP warned that strong measures will be taken to eradicate ganja in the district, everyone should participate in the eradication of ganja and strict action should be taken against those who bought, consumed, transported and sold ganja.
