“RSD_Rajanna Sircilla District SP Mahesh B. Githe said that the services rendered by Praja Kavi Kaloji Narayana Rao to Telugu literature are unforgettable.
On the occasion of Kaloji Jayanti, he paid floral tributes to Kaloji’s portrait arranged at the District Police Office premises in Sircilla today.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP praised Kaloji as a great personality who worked extensively for the preservation of the Telangana language and instilled revolutionary consciousness among the people through his poems and writings.
He said Kaloji’s contributions to the field of Telugu literature are indelible and that he stood as a visionary and source of inspiration for poets and writers of the Telangana region. He urged the public to continue the ideals and inspiration of Kaloji Narayana Rao, who was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian award.
RIs Madhukar, Suresh, Ramesh, CIs Madhukar, Mogili, Srilatha, Administrative Officer Padma, RSIs, office staff and police personnel participated in the program.
