Babu Jagjivan Ram jayanti celebrations

RSD- Sardapur news: On the occasion of the Jayanti of Indian freedom fighter and India’s first Labour Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram, Battalion Assistant Commandant J. Ramdas paid tributes by garlanding the portrait of Babu Jagjivan Ram at Sardapur, 17th Police Battalion. Speaking on the occasion, the Assistant Commandant said that his life and messages, fondly known as ‘Babuji’, continue to inspire generations. Jagjivan Ram rendered distinguished services to India as an Indian freedom fighter and India’s first Labour Minister. He was the Defence Minister of India during the 1971 Indo-Pak War, which resulted in the formation of Bangladesh. His contribution in the Green Revolution in India and the modernization of Indian agriculture is still remembered. Babu Jagjivan Ram was a great man who dedicated his life for the welfare of the untouchables. R.I.s Shankar, Narayana, Nemaji, Srinivas, Raghunath officers and staff participated in this program.
