BC Student Union Bandh for release of scholarships and reimbursement – Telanagana

A sit-in was called by the educational institutions at Rajannasircilla district headquarters today under the BC Students Union to protest against the state government’s adamant stance on non-release of pending fee reimbursements and scholarships. A bandh was done in Junior and Degree Colleges. In this regard, State Coordinator of BC Student Union Kanchara Ravi Goud said that BC is not releasing nearly 3200 crores to SC ST minorities for three years and is playing with poor students. He questioned why the funds in our state should be distributed in the neighbouring state without caring for the students. They demanded immediate release of the pending fee reimbursement and scholarship from the state government. If not, they warned that agitation programs will be taken up under the BC student union across the state. Illandula Prakash, in-charge of BC Student Union Sircilla Division, Mandal President Matte Naresh, Leaders Alle Neeraj, Laddu Vidyarthiini students participated in this program.
