Case registered on 5 for committing cyber crimes

Speaking on this occasion, the SP said that a person named Dasari Murali from Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, who was running a fast food center in Bhiwandi and was living with the money he earned, got used to a luxurious life and wanted to earn money in any easy way. He formed a gang with his friends from Bhiwandi, Vilesh Patel, Chirag Ramesh Pethad, Jintendra Somabhai and Nilesh Jai Singh and targeted online centers. First, he called the online center people and introduced himself as a high-ranking person and told them that he has a lot of online transactions every day. And said that he will send cash to them. He will make online transfers to them and plan to transfer the money to the accounts of Vilesh Patel, Chirag Ramesh Pethad, Jintendra Somabhai and Nilesh Jai Singh. The five of them shared the money that came into their accounts and committed fraud.
Method of committing the crime
Taking aim at an online center in Agraharam under Vemulawada town limits of Rajanna Sircilla district and a fast food center in Sircilla, the accused named Dasari Murali called a person named Inukonda Mahesh of Cheerlavancha R&R Colony, who is related to the online center in Agraharam, and introduced himself as DR. Rajireddy, working at Sircilla Civil Hospital. He asked him if he would transfer the money to his account by taking a commission if he received money from their shop. Inukonda Mahesh agreed to do so. The person named Murali said that he would send a person to Mahesh and he would come and give him the money. Similarly, the accused named Dasari Murali called the owner of a fast food center in Sircilla and introduced himself as Degree College Rajireddy Sir. When he asked him on the phone that he needed to order a parcel of 110 biryanis, the fast food center said that he should send an advance, sir. He said that he would go to the online center opposite Dasari Murali Agraharam Degree College and call him, he will tell him that he will give him 5000 rupees as an advance. Thus, the fast food center person went to the online center of Inukonda Mahesh and called the accused and gave it to Mahesh. As the accused said, he transferred 25000 rupees once and 40 thousand rupees again, a total of 65 thousand rupees to the account mentioned by the accused through Google Pay. After transferring 65000 to the number he mentioned, the fast food center person asked Mahesh to give him 65,000. He said that instead of this, you should give me 5000 for the biriyani order. Realizing that they had been cheated, the two filed a complaint at the Vemulawada town police station. The Vemulawada town police registered a case and formed a special team with Vemulawada town inspector Veera Prasad, cyber cell team Junaid, Gangi Reddy, Mahesh, Vemulawada town SI Premanandam and Sampath to investigate. They said that based on technology, four people were arrested in Bhiwandi on 03.03.2025, and a person named Dasari Murali, who was on the run, will be caught soon. He said that these five accused have committed frauds worth more than 30 lakhs in 54 complaints filed with the NCRP across the country, and that more than 100 more complaints are likely to be filed against them. A special team has been formed to arrest the key accused from Gujarat who played a major role behind these five accused and will be arrested soon. The District SP congratulated Vemulawada Town Inspector Veera Prasad, Cyber Cell Team Junaid, Gangi Reddy, Mahesh, Vemulawada Town SI Premanandam and Sampath, who played a major role in arresting the accused in this case.
