The collector Anurag Jayanthi said that the life of Telangana armed struggle fighter Chakali Ailamma was inspirational. Chakali Ailamma Jayanti celebrations were held at the Collectorate on Monday. Along with Collector Anurag Jayanthi, officials and leaders paid tributes to Ailamma’s portrait by placing flowers. Speaking on the occasion, Collector Anurag Jayanti said that Ailamma, a washerwoman born in a common family, worked for the downtrodden people through her life of struggle. He said that her life is an inspiration for today’s generation. Khimya Naik and Satya Prasad were additional collectors in the program. RDO Srinivasa Rao. Akunuri Sankaraiah is the chairman of the district library organization. District Rythu Coordinating Committee Convener Gaddam Narasiah, several officers and leaders of Rajaka Sanghas have participated.

The SP said that it is a matter of pride to officially celebrate the birth anniversary ofBrave lady Chakali Ailamma, who gave her life to the movement in the armed struggle of Telangana and inspired the movement. In celebration of Chakali Ailamma’s birth anniversary, SP Rahul Hegde IPS paid floral tributes to Ailamma’s portrait installed at the district police office today. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said Ailamma was a great democrat who fought for her rights, within the law, and for justice in the courts during the armed struggle. And Nizam said that Chakali Ailamma was a hero who fought against the Rajakars. It is our responsibility to remember the freedom fighters of Telangana and carry on their aspirations. Additional SP Chandaiah, Administration Officer Hammadullah Khan, office superintendents, staff and others participated in this program.

Today in the Chakali Ailamma Jayanti celebrations organized in the Municipal Corporation, Municipal Corporation President Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani was present as the Chief Guest and said that Chakali Ailamma (Chityala Ailamma) 127th birth anniversary celebration wishes to everyone who participated in Chakali Ailamma Jayanti. Ailamma, was born in the weaker sections, was a great Telangana independence fighter who fought against the tyranny of the Rajakars for the realization of people’s rights during the armed struggle of Telangana. She said that the life of Chakali Ailamma is the proof of the fighting spirit of Telangana. She said that  Chief Minister KCR is working for the rights of people with the spirit of self-respect of Chakali Ailamma. We all respect the ambitions of Chakali Ailamma, who fought for land for the people and for the rights of the people for the upliftment of the poor people. Municipal Commissioner Sammayya, Vice-Chairman Manche Srinivas, Councilor members, co-op members, municipal officials, staff, village dignitaries and people participated in this program.

Commandant of 17th Police Battalion Mr. K. Subramaniam by garlanding the portrait of Chakali Ailamma said that she was a brave woman who fought against the nobles and Deshmukhs in the armed peasant struggle of those days for freedom from exploitation and oppression for land, Bhukti, and freedom.  Administrative Officer Mrs. B.Sthelaja, officers and staff participated in this program.
