RSD_CM inaugurates Young Police School

RSD-Hyderabad news: As part of the Young India Police School project, which the state government has ambitiously undertaken for the children of police officers on the lines of military schools, CM Revanth Reddy inaugurated the first school in Manchirevu on 10.04.2025 morning.Revanth Reddy unveiled the stone plaque marking the inauguration of the educational institution. Minister Sridhar Babu, senior police officials and several public representatives participated in the program. Later, Revanth Reddy inspected the arrangements at the school.

50 percent seats for police children.

First priority is given to the children of martyred police officers in this school. After that, 50 percent seats are allotted to the children of families of constables and IPS officers in service. Another 50 percent seats are allotted to locals. Seats are available under the open category system. You can apply for admissions in classes 1 to 5 on the Young India Police School (YIPS) website. There are 40 seats in each class. There are a total of 200 seats in 5 classes. Out of which, 100 seats are for the children of police personnel. The rest are allocated to other children. It is said that this school will provide education with international standards. However, the fees in this school are reasonable. There is international level education and CBSE syllabus. Sports are also given priority.
