Collector congratulations Dammanapet ZPHS students

RSD-Dammanapet news: In the Agastya zonal level science exhibition, conducted online, a total of 512 teams participated, and the best 44 innovations were selected for the second phase. Four innovations from Dammanapet school secured a place among them. The innovation, “Trolley for removing animal carcasses,” created by 8th grade students Ponnala Niharika and Annam Ruthika under the guidance of their teacher Sampath Kumar, won first prize and a cash prize of Rs. 4,000/-, and was selected for the national level. They will participate in the national level science exhibition to be held in Bengaluru in February 2026. Similarly, the innovation “Women’s Cooking Companion,” created by 7th-grade students P. Sai Kumar and P. Abhiram, received a consolation prize and a cash prize of Rs. 2,500/-. On this occasion, in a program held at the Collectorate on 24.01.2026, the District Collector and the District Education Officer congratulated the students and their guide teacher, Sampath Kumar.
