Completion of Shyamakunta veg and non-veg market by November as ordered by District Collector Anurag Jayanthi

RSD_district collector inspecting infrastructure of Vemulawada ans Sircilla

District Collector Anurag Jayanthi has directed the municipal authorities to complete Vemulawada town Shyamakunta veg and non-veg market by next November.

On 29.10.2022, the district collector inspected the progress of various development works being carried out in Vemulawada town along with the local municipal chairperson Ramatheerthapu Madhavi.

As a part of the field visit, District Collector Anurag Jayanthi visited the high schools of Zilla Parishad of Bhagwant Nagar.He also expressed his anger over the non-commencement of the infrastructure works to be undertaken under the Mana Uru Manabadi programme. Municipal engineering officials were directed to start immediately. The engineering officials were directed to provide the status report of the works undertaken under the Mana Uru Manabadi program in 15 selected schools in Vemulawada town.

Later, the District Collector inspected Shyamakunta Veg and Non-Veg Market which is under construction under G + 1 system. Since the market works are 80 percent complete, the remaining works, including elevation, should be completed by the end of November as ordered by district collector.

The R&B Engineers have been advised to invite tenders for the 4-lane road from Chekkapally Junction to Korutla Junction and Vattemla Road.

He said that the work of the bridge being constructed on Maneru should be resumed as soon as possible.

Finally, the District Collector, who inspected the development and widening works of Sircilla Old By Pass Road, directed the R&B Engineers to complete the works as soon as possible. Along with the Collector, RDOs Pawan Kumar, T Srinivas Rao, R&B Kishan, Municipal Commissioners Anvesh, Sammayya, Tehsildar Raja Reddy, Public Health Department Executive Engineer Sampath Rao and others participated in the visit.
