Congress leader arrested for illegal use of gelatin sticks

RSD- Kamareddy news: Police have arrested Congress leader Gaddam Chandrasekhar Reddy, who belongs to Kamareddy district headquarters. It is reported that Gaddam Chandrasekhar Reddy was arrested on 05.07.2025 and sent to remand in the case of illegal use and storage of banned explosives (gelatin sticks) recently found in Kamareddy. He is the only one who has recently secured a place in the PCC executive committee of the Congress party from Kamareddy district. Gaddam Chandrasekhar Reddy’s wife Gaddam Indupriya is the latest former municipal chairperson. Locals complained about the use of gelatin sticks to remove the stones blocking the construction of a house recently undertaken by a businessman named Sridhar in KPR Colony in Kamareddy town. The police arrested Bontha Satyanarayana, Bontha Sampath, Bontha Rajulu and Sridhar in these cases. The relevant gelatin sticks were stored in Srivari Eco Venture on the outskirts of Lingapur in Kamareddy town, and it is learned that the police registered a case and arrested Gaddam Chandrasekhar Reddy. It is learnt that the police have registered a case and arrested Chandrasekhar Reddy, who is suspected of involvement. Controversies have been brewing around Gaddam Chandrasekhar Reddy since the formation of the Congress government. His recent arrest on the grounds of handling banned explosives without a license is creating a political stir. It is learnt that Gaddam Chandrasekhar Reddy’s wife, former Municipal Chairperson Gaddam Indu Priya, is ready to speak to the media on this matter.
