On Wednesday, North Zone Additional DGP visited Rajarajeswara Swamy Temple and said that officials should take steps to ensure that the devotees who come near Rajarajeswara Swamy Temple, which is a famous shrine, do not face any difficulties.

As a part of the annual inspections, North Zone Additional DGP Y Nagireddy, IPS along with District SP Rahul Hegde inspected Vemulawada Sub Division office on Wednesday and said that the law and order is under control in the district and the performance of the staff is very good. He said that he has come here as a part of a general inspection. Similarly, he inquired about the cases registered in Vemulawada sub division and suggested that there should be quality investigation in every case. It has been suggested that the police officers should go to the respective courts and motivate the evidences and witnesses in grave, non-grave and women related cases during the trial so that the accused are punished in the cases. In sensational cases investigation should be done quickly and charge sheet should be filed. Quality investigation should be done in every case, percentage of punishment should be increased in cases. And he suggested that everyone should know the role clarity and goal clarity in performing their duties. He said that efforts should be made to control crime by using the latest technology in the investigation of cases. The officials were advised to monitor the performance of the CC cameras installed in the villages and towns and SHO every day in the police stations. He said that the implementation of functional verticals should be monitored. The officials were advised to avoid traffic problems and law and order problems for devotees coming from the state roads to the famous shrine of Rajarajeswara Swamy temple. Later on, saplings were planted in the DSP office along with the district SP.
