Crimes should be control – DGP Telangana State
State DGP M. Mahender Reddy IPS held a meeting today through video conference with District wise Commissioners and SPs to control crime and increase the conviction rate. He asked them to give appropriate instructions to the police officers and staff to work responsibly for speedy resolution of pending cases. As a part of conservation, he was asked to be available to people all the time and work to solve their problems.
Police officers and personnel should log in HRMS (Human Resource Management System) from time to time to know the details related to their service, to know the details of rewards, awards, leave, pay slip, etc.
In order to raise any grievances related to their service, they have to log into HRMS and know it online, HRMS is also considered as a vertical and the officers of the unit should monitor this specially. He said that the entry should be completely transparent and in the coming future, the employees’ promotion, pension, increment and other matters can be monitored online.
According to the functional verticals, all the officials are requested to give appropriate instructions to them regularly to perform their duties. Regular awareness programs should be organized for the public on cybercrimes and the public should be alerted by explaining how the cyber criminals are currently committing crimes.
