Criminal cases will be filed for permitless plots- District collector
District Collector Anurag Jayanthi said that the registration of layout plots without permission in the district should not be done under any circumstances. Registration Officers and Tehsildars have been advised.
On 01.04.2023 evening, a review meeting was held with the District Collector, Registration, Revenue and Panchayat officials on the measures to be taken on the layout plots without permission in the district in the Collectorate mini meeting hall. The district collector said that complaints are being received that layout plots are being bought and sold without any prior permission in many places in the district. He said that people are being cheated by buying plots in layouts without permission in the district. He said that the creation of infrastructure in layouts without permission would become a burden for the government. MPOs have been directed to remove the boundary stones if they are found to have laid out the layout without prior permission at the layout.
They want to set up a special board stating that these are not allowed which will be written in big letters and let people know. He said that criminal cases should be registered against the developer who violated the norms. District Additional Collectors B Satya Prasad, N Khemya Naik, RDO Pawan Kumar, DPO Ravinder, Tahsildars, Registrars, MPOs and others participated in the meeting.
