Cyber Crime Police registers case against KTR

RSD-Hyderabad news: The Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police has registered a case against BRS working president and former minister KTR on allegations that he made inappropriate comments that tarnished the reputation of CM Revanth Reddy. Congress party MLC Balmuri Venkat has filed a complaint to the police to this effect. MLC Balmuri Venkat has alleged in his complaint that KTR deliberately made provocative comments with the intention of defaming Revanth Reddy and damaging his reputation. He stated that a video containing baseless and defamatory comments made by KTR was widely circulated online. He explained in the complaint that making such comments is likely to incite hatred among the people and disturb public peace, especially at a sensitive time when the inquiry commission is questioning former CM KCR on the irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project. Several social media posts were also submitted as evidence to support these allegations. Based on the complaint and evidence received, the police registered a case against KTR under Section 353(2) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) for making statements likely to cause disturbance to public peace and Section 352 for intentionally insulting others with intent to cause disturbance to public peace and order.
