Cremation performed in forest

RSD- Chinna Bonala news: A person named Bathula Shankar died on 14.06.2025 due to illness in Chinna Bonala, the tenth ward under the Sircilla Municipality of Rajanna Sircilla district. Since there is no Vaikuntha Dham in the ward, the body of Bathula Shankar, was cremated in a forest area about two kilometers away. It is very unfortunate that the Vaikuntha Rath, which is used to transport the bodies of those who have passed away for cremation, is not available. When the municipal authorities were contacted for the Vaikuntha Rath, they gave a careless answer that only one vehicle in Siricilla is operational, the rest are not available due to repairs, and there is no one to repair them. How many times have been complained to the authorities about this issue, but the Vaikuntha Rath is not being sent to the merged villages. 10th ward does not even have a cemetery. If someone dies, the cremation performed in “Jangamaiya Kunta” which is a kilometer away from the village. 10th ward is not within the limits of Siricilla Municipality. Otherwise, the municipality will not take the taxes paid by 10th ward people. Is it fair to show such discrimination against merged villages even during the last rites of the departed souls, Is this fair to this government, they neglected merged villages in this way during the previous government’s tenure as well. The government in power now also adopts the same attitude. Everyone are appealing to the Chief Minister of Telangana, Enumula Revanth Reddy, and the Minister of Municipal Affairs, Government Whip Adi Srinivas, District Collector, Rajanna Sircilla District ruling party in-charge K.K. Mahender Reddy, to respond to10th ward problems immediately said Bolgam Nagaraju Goud, Former Councilor of Ward 10.
