ED shows irregularities of Shwetha granite’s of Telangana minister
RSD- Telangana news: Telangana BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar’s family members got a shock. The Enforcement Directorate has issued notices to the agency related to his family members. FEMA issued notices to Swetha Granite Agency for violation of norms. ED had issued notices to that agency in the past as well. In November last year, ED officials conducted searches in that agency.
However, ED officials have found that this agency has committed irregularities in the export of granite material to China. It was concluded that 7.6 lakh cubic meters of granite was illegally transported to China without proper permits. Also, the officials found that the tax due to the government was not paid properly. Just Rs. 3 crores tax paid only.Rs. 50 crore tax is pending. Also through export of granite in FEMA regulations Rs. 4.8 crore fraud was committed and the ED officials disclosed that they have collected evidence that a large amount of money was transferred through different route.
In this regard, the representatives of Shweta Granite Agencies will soon appear before the ED. In the past also the representatives of Shweta Granite Agencies appeared before the ED.
