Funeral arrangements before death – A surprise to the world

Epuri Rama Rao and Prami living in Khammam City have two children. Eldest son Harshavardhan went to Australia in 2013 after doing BPharmacy. After studying higher education there, he started working in a private hospital. Before Corona he came to Khammam came and got married in February 2020. He has made all arrangements to take his wife if he gets the visa. Meanwhile, the virus-lockdown came and went on.

Meanwhile Harshvardhan, who was doing gym in October 2020, felt a difference in his health. When he felt tired and coughed, he underwent tests and was told that he was infected with lung cancer. When parents were told about the matter, they cried. He was asked to come home. But Harsha gave them courage. He said he will stay there and get treatment.

He got cancer.He divorced his wife because he thought he was going to die. Moreover he made some arrangements to settle down in her life. In this process while undergoing treatment for cancer his joy knew no bounds when the doctors told him that he was cured. He came home in September 2022 and stayed for ten days. After going back the disease reversed. He understood that death was inevitable. He informed everyone about the matter. He used to talk on video call everyday. Meanwhile Akhil, his younger brother’s marriage has been fixed and he was happy for his brother. As the date was fixed in the month of May, he was happy and said that he would come if his health cooperated. His courage at that time surprised everyone.

After his death, he focused on repatriating the dead body. He did not want to cause any trouble to his parents in that regard. According to the laws of Australia, he appointed a lawyer and completed the formalities. Harshavardhan passed away on 24th March 2023. His body reached India from Australia on 5th April 2023. Seeing Harsha’s dead body, the family and the locals wept with tears. The funeral rites ended.
