Girls are the jewels of the society – President of Municipal Corporation Sircilla

On 11.10.2022, in the local Gita Nagar High School, Rajannasirciilla District Women, Child and Elderly Disabled Welfare Department organized the International Girl’s Day program where Municipal Corporation President Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani and ZP Chairperson Mrs. Nyalakonda Aruna Raghava Reddy participated as chief guests.

On this occasion, Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, President of Municipal Corporation said that, first of all, the representatives of the public, the officials, the school students who participated in the program were congratulated on the International Day of the Girl Child.

 Chief Minister KCR said that girls should be the backbone of this society and he is leading the Telangana state in the development of welfare by giving high priority to protect the welfare of girls and women in Telangana state.

Through Anganwadi Centers are providing nutritional food to young children, to pregnant women and through KCR kit scheme, govt. is giving 13 thousand rupees to mothers who give birth to baby girls as an incentive and infant mortality is being prevented. Special counseling centers have been set up through the centers and measures are being taken by the government to instill mental courage in them.

In addition, in order to prevent child marriages by taking measures to ensure that marriages take place within the marriageable age decided by the government through schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi Shadi Mubarak.

He said that special reservation rights are being given to women in education, job opportunities and special efforts are being made for the advancement of women through the Department of Women and Child Welfare.

On this occasion, Chief Minister KCR, who stands as a home for girls and women in every situation, has taken special initiative to ensure that girls and women do not face any problem anywhere in the district by showing special initiative and providing protection to the female students who cannot pursue higher education due to financial reasons. On this occasion, municipal president directed the girls that girls should not under any circumstances feel inferior to the boys, have self-confidence in any matter and set high goals in life and move forward in education towards achieving the goals set by them.

When we respect women, everyone should be involved in creating a gender-free society.
