Govt allows shops to be open 24 hours in Telangana
The Telangana government has given a green signal to all the shops across the state of Telangana to run 24 hours. In addition, they are allowed to spend Rs.10,000/- per shop per year. Amendment to Shops and Establishment Act. In a GO released on 4th April 2023, the labour department said that, Telangana government issues guidelines for granting exemption from section 7 that is opening and closing hours of shop which is mentioned as per Telagana shops and Establishment Act 1988 and defined in section 2(21), for operating 24 hours a day and 7 days a week in telagana state. With this, from now on, all the business centers of Telangana state are open 24X7.
