Grain purchase centre at 10th ward inauguration by Municipal council president

On 20.04.2023, the rice grain purchase center established under MEPMA in the local 10th ward was inaugurated by Municipal Council President Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, TSPTDC Chairman Mr. Guduri Praveen, District Farmer Coordinating Committee President Gaddam Narsaiah and BRS Party Town President Jindam Chakrapani.

Municipal Association President Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani said that Chief Minister KCR would make all the arrangements on behalf of the government so that the grain grown by the farmers in the state can be fully purchased through centers like Mepma and IKP at the government support price.Farmers are advised not to believe the words of brokers and get cheated by selling grain at a low price. Minister KTR said that all the arrangements have been made by talking to the officials and public representatives so that the farmers do not face any difficulties.

She said that the state government will stand by the farmers through many welfare programs like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, free electricity, Rythu Vedikas, Rythu Kalalu, Kaleshwaram Uppitutala Scheme etc.

Therefore, as per the ideas of State Chief Minister KCR, under the guidance of Minister Mr. KTR, all the farmers are requested to grow commercial crops like palm oil, vegetables, sunflower, pulses and rice grains as alternatives to rice.

With the cooperation of Minister KTR, she said that in the coming days, a permanent place will be identified and given to the women’s organizations to set up paddy buying centers for the small farmers. Municipal Commissioner Sammayya, Vice Chairman Manche Srinivas, Mandal Rythu Coordinating Committee President Vojjala Aggi Ramulu, Councilor Bolgam Nagaraju, Vijaya Milk Producers Association District President Dadigala Shravan Kumar, Former AMC Director Bandari Shyam, BRS Party Town Vice President MD Sattar, Secretary Myana Ravi, Vanga Ravi, Pasha, Sunkari Sai, Agriculture Department officials, ADMC Bhulakshmi, Sunanda, VAEO, RPs, Amali community members, farmers and ward people participated.
