PSE process should be completed quickly: District Collector Anurag Jayanthi
District Collector Anurag Jayanti has directed the concerned officials to speedily complete the PSE (Photo & Signature Entry) process for voter registration, deletion and correction in the district.
On 20.04.2023, District Collector Anurag Jayanti reviewed with the revenue officials in the conference hall of the integrated district office complex.
Collector said that the details of dead persons in the district should be completely removed from the voter list, and applications for new voter registration and amendments should be received and resolved. It is suggested to re-examine the list which has been deleted so far. If there are any objections from the candidates, they should be immediately responded to and resolved. Form-6 and Form-7 received through online were ordered to be thoroughly examined. If there is more than 5 percent deletion in a polling booth, the concerned RDO should personally go and examine each application at the field level. He also said that a new version of the mobile app currently used by BLOs has come and all BLOs should use this app.
Earlier, the Collector discussed with the Revenue officials the compensation related to R&R colonies and other issues. The Collector directed the concerned officials to resolve these issues within a week and submit their list.
In this meeting, the in-charge DRO T. Srinivasa Rao, Vemulawada RDO Pawan Kumar, Tehsildars Raju, Naresh, Srinivas, Sadanandam, Supervisors Ramesh, Election Department Deputy Tehsildar Rahman, Manoj and others were present.
