The District SP stated that the survival of millions of animals along with humans is dependent on trees.

District SP Rahul Hegde planted saplings in his camp office today while accepting the Green India Challenge launched by  Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Kumar

In this regard, SP said that the  Chief Minister of the state is implementing the Harithaharam program widely across the state and by participating in the Green Challenge movement introduced by the Rajya Sabha member Santhosh Kumar, we will be direct participants in providing a pollution free environment to the future generations.

He said that they are planting saplings extensively in the police offices of the district by giving high priority to the Green Challenge programme. He also suggested that everyone should plant saplings and said that planting saplings is the only way to ensure timely rains and climate balance. He said that we have a moral responsibility to provide a pollution free environment to our future generations.

Then the District SP gave a green challenge to Jagityala Additional SP Rupesh, Ramagundam Additional DCP Akhilamahajan and Munuguru ASP Sabarish to accept the Green India Challenge.
