If fake Gulf agents do not change their behavior, they won’t be spared

RSD- Tangallapally news: On 09.05.2025, a Gulf agent named Syed Ashwaku from Bhingal, Nizamabad district, under the jurisdiction of Tangalapalli police station, cheated 23 people from Siricilla district by telling them that they would have a good life in Azerbaijan on a company visa and took 80 lakh rupees and sent them all on a visit visa to Azerbaijan. A complaint was filed against Syed Ashwaku by Panja Venu, father of Mallaiah, from Mandapalli village in Tangalapalli mandal, at the Tangalapalli police station and a case was registered and he was remanded after investigation. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that those who go to the Gulf for work from the district should not be cheated by paying money to fake agents and should get visas from immigration and legal persons only. He said that strict action will be taken if those who are violating the government rules and committing Gulf frauds do not change their attitude, and if the victims of being cheated by Gulf agents in the district complain, cases will be registered immediately and action will be taken. He said that 22 people have been arrested in 17 cases in the districts this year against fake agents who are cheating people by taking large amounts of money from those who go to the district for employment, giving fake visas and keeping passports without returning them. He advised those who go to the Gulf for employment not to resort to fake agents and get cheated, and those who go to Gulf countries should resort to only licensed agents and obtain visas through them.
