Illegal mining supported by Minister KTR – Tangellapally

Chetty Umesh Rao, former official spokesperson of TPCC, said that illegal mining is being carried out in Tangallapalli mandal of Rajannasircilla district under the support of Minister KTR. Speaking at a media conference organized on 20.04.2023, he accused the followers of Minister KTR for doing illegal mining in Tangallapally Mandal even without any permits. He said that they are violating the rules by using explosives against the rules. He said that the response to the complaint given to the mining authorities in this regard was scanty. They demanded to immediately seize the quarries that are being operated against the rules. He said that in every mandal in the district, the leaders of the ruling party have formed gangs and are committing illegal mining. Even now the district level officials have demanded to take action against illegal mining. Otherwise, he said, the Congress party will work with the people to stop illegal mining at the field level. They said that it is evil to do politics even in the distribution of double bedroom houses in relation to the poor. SC Cell District Convener Akunuri Balaraju, Oruganti Tirupati Bhupal Reddy Peddi Gari Srinivas and others participated in the meeting.
