Inspection of works under Mana Uru Mana Badi scheme – District collector Anurag Jayanthi

On 01.12.2022, the Collector visited the primary school of the Veernapalli Mandal Vanapalli village and the high school of the Zilla Parishad in the center of Veernapalli Mandal at the field level and inspected the progress of the work being done as part of the Mana Uru- Mana Badi program.

First, the Collector visited the Mandal Parishad Primary School in Vanaplli village and inquired about the progress of Mana Uru – Mana Badi works from the concerned officials.

Officials explained to the collector that kitchen shed, compound wall, toilets, drinking water facility and other repairs are being done. The Collector directed the officials to speed up the progress of the works and ensure that all the works are completed by the next Sankranti.

The Collector reviewed the implementation of the first step program aimed at improving the learning abilities of the students. He himself spoke to the children and examined their learning abilities. He said that students should be observed to read, write fluently and do Chaturvedic processes in mathematics.

Later, the Collector visited the Zilla Parishad High School in Veernapalli Mandal Centre. Mana Uru- Mana Badi along with the building being constructed with CSR funds were inspected. The Collector directed the concerned officials to speed up the progress of the works in the construction stage and ensure that they are completed on war footing.

The collector inspected the Anganwadi center in the school premises. He inquired about the services provided to the children by the Anganwadi Centre. He asked the Anganwadi teacher whether the children were of sufficient weight for their height or not. Children are advised to take nutritious food daily provided by government.

Earlier, the Collector conducted a review of the structures of two-bedroom houses in the Gram Panchayat office premises of Garjanapally village. The collector expressed his anger that the construction of two-bedroom houses in Garjanapalli, Maddimalla and Veernapalli has not started so far in the mandal. It has been ordered to start the construction of two bedroom houses from the 4th of this month. It is suggested that the construction of the houses should be completed within the next 3 months. In this program, District Education Officer Dr. Radhakishan, Panchayat Raj EE Surya Prakash, Sub Tehsildar Praveen Kumar and others have participated.
