International Women’s Day celebrations -Municipal Corporation office, SBI and Telangana State Tribal teacher Federation

She said in the occasion that first of all, she congratulated the representatives of the public, officials, women sisters and everyone on International Women’s Day. Chief Minister KR said that wherever women are respected, there are gods, he is leading the state of Telangana in the development of welfare by giving high priority for the welfare, protection and economic development of women in Telangana state.

Anganwadi Centers provide nutritional food to pregnant women and small children through Anganwadi Centers and provide an incentive of 13 thousand rupees to mothers who give birth to girls through the KCR kit scheme to prevent female infant mortality. In order to give mental strength to women in need of protection, special counseling centers have been set up through Sakhi Centers and measures are being taken by the government to give them mental courage. In addition, child marriages have been eradicated by taking measures to ensure that marriages take place within the marriageable age decided by the government through schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi Shadi Mubarak.

She said that special reservation rights are being given to women in educational job opportunities and special efforts are being made for the advancement of women through the Department of Women and Child Welfare. She said that even in politics, reservations are being implemented by allocating seats to women. She said that by providing subsidized loans to encourage women in the industrial sector, they are providing support for women’s economic growth, providing support functions to beedi workers, single women and widows, and providing financial security. Especially on the occasion of this Women’s Day, the women’s health program has been started across the state on 08.03.2023 and the program has been designed to organize special medical camps to solve women’s health problems every Tuesday. She said that women should not feel inferior to men, by having self-confidence in any matter and they should set high goals in life and work towards achieving the goals set and become successful and stand as role models in the society.

Chief Minister KCR in the special state reminded that through the Urban Poverty Alleviation Department and Rural Poverty Alleviation Department, by providing employment loan opportunities to the Women’s Associations and working for the economic growth of women, they also increased the salaries of the employees working in these departments. She said that everyone should be involved in creating a gender-free society. Later, the members of the Women Governing Body were felicitated on behalf of the Municipal Corporation. Municipal Commissioner Sammayya, Vice Chairman Manche Srinivas, Councilor Members and Co-Option Members Authorities and Staff participated in this program.

In celebration of the International Women’s Day on 08.03.2023, in the Women’s Day celebrations held at the local SBI Gandhinagar branch, the President of the Municipality Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani was present as the chief guest and on this occasion, the International Women’s Day was celebrated by wishing all the female employees and staff of the bank on International Women’s Day.
