Medicines with chalk piece powder, interstate gang of fake medicines arrested

RSD-Hyderabad news: Telangana Drug Control Administration, Hyderabad Police have busted the interstate network. A gang was caught making drugs from chalk piece powder at a pharmaceutical factory called Nectar Herbs and Drugs in Kotdwar, Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand pharma factory sold medicines made from chalk powder to Telangana. The manufactured medicines are under the labels of renowned companies like Cipla, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Alchem, Aristo. But they are actually medicines made from chalk piece powder. Accused have admitted that Augmentin – 625, Clavum – 625, Omnicef-O 200, Montire – LC are being manufactured and sent through courier to different states.
