Members of women’s groups should grow economically

RSD-Tangallapalli news: Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha wished that women who have got the opportunity to set up fertilizer and fertilizer shops under Indira Mahila Shakti should do business in a disciplined manner and grow economically. Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha inaugurated the fertilizer & seed shop set up by Tejasri Gram Samaikya Mahila Sangam at the Tangallapalli mandal center under Indira Mahila Shakti on 09.09.2025.Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that as per the state government’s goal, canteens, dairy units, chicken rearing, RTC buses, petrol pumps and other self-employment units are already being provided to women’s groups in the district under Indira Mahila Shakti. He explained that rice mills and solar plants will soon be set up for the members of women’s groups in the district under Indira Mahila Shakti.A total of 23 shops will be set up in the district under the women’s associations, and several shops have already been opened as part of this, he explained. He revealed that the establishment of fertilizer and pesticide shops is the first of its kind in the state. Members of women’s associations suggested that quality seeds, fertilizers and pesticides be made available to farmers as per the plan.Farmers called on them to support women financially by purchasing fertilizers, seeds and pesticides from the fertilizer and pesticide shops under the women’s associations in their jurisdiction. He clarified that the goal of the public government is to make one crore women in the state millionaires.DRDO Seshadri, Market Committee Vice Chairman Narsingam, local leaders, members of women’s associations, farmers, people and others participated in the program.
