Mekapotula Shyamsunder Reddy s/o Venkat Reddy, who is driving a car in Hyderabad cheated a minor girl of R&R Colony Sabhash Palli village. He met her on Instagram, made contact with the minor girl and tricked her into believing that he loves her and will marry her. , 29 years Kulam Reddy r/o Hyderabad took her on his pulsar bike from the victim’s mother’s house to Hyderabad and Shyamsunder Reddy molested the victim at her grandmother’s house and then left the victim at his house and cheated her not to marry after a few days saying that she would get married later. A case has been registered in Vemulawada Town PS and on 14.11.2022, Mekapotula Shyamsunder Reddy the accused in the said case was arrested and remanded and in another similar case Lingampally Charan of Chandurthi village made believe a minor girl of their village that he is loving her and he will marry her . He was also arrested and sent to remand, Nagendra Chari DSP Vemulawada said. DSP appealed to the girls not to respond to the messages received by strangers through WhatsApp and Instagram and not to spoil their future by leaving home without the knowledge of their parents.
