Murder attempt through social media chat – illanthakunta

On 27.03.2023 at around 9:30 PM, Virla Sai Ram S/o Narsaiah, age: 25 yrs, R/o Cheelapur was attacked by two unknown persons in the suburbs of village Venkatapuram, Ellantakunta Mandal. In this matter on 29.03.2023 by the complaint of Virla Sai Ram a case of attempt to murder is registered in Illanthakunta Police Station. Offenders A1.Kuntala Shekar,s/o Pochaiah 28 yrs, R/o Illanthakunta Village and Mandal A2. Kodada Raghu, s/o Balayya 23 yrs, R/o Illanthakunta, was arrested and interrogated on 31.03.2023 as part of the investigation. The accused introduced himself as a stranger on social media and harassed him with obscene language in the form of chatting. In the suburbs of Venkatapuram village, they confessed that they have committed an attempted murder. Sircilla Rural CI Upender said that after registering a case against them, the accused were arrested, a knife, a bike and a mobile phone were seized from them and remanded to the court.
