NEP 2020 should be canceled says SFI

RSD- Karimnagar news: On 30.12.2024, on the occasion of the 55th foundation day of SFI under the Indian Students Federation SFI Karimnagar District Committee, the Independence Democracy Socialism flag was hoisted by District President Kampelli Aravind in the Mankamma Garden of the District Office. Speaking on the occasion, District President Secretaries Kampelli Aravind and Gajjela Srikanth said that SFI was formed in Kerala in 1970 and has achieved many victories in the education sector. He said that SFI will fight to provide quality education to welfare hostel students, students studying in government schools and colleges. We demand the implementation of the scientific education system in the country. But they said that the newly formed BJP government will completely destroy the education system by bringing sectarianism and saffronization in education. There is a situation where the new education policy 2020 is being introduced and caste and caste-based subjects are being added to education. They said that due to this new education policy, poor students are being kept away from primary education. Similarly, the students who are waiting with hope that the lives of students will improve if the Congress government comes to power are disappointed in this Congress government. There is a situation where the scholarship fee reimbursement due to students is pending for more than 8700 crores. So far, there is no response from this Revanth Reddy government on scholarships in the education sector. Therefore, the state government should respond and release the pending dues, and SFI is demanding that a resolution be passed in the assembly to implement the new education policy.
