No bag day on every 4th Saturday

RSD Hyderabad news: From this academic year, the school education department has directed the authorities to implement the fourth Saturday of every month as No Bag Day. According to the School Bag Policy 2020, it is recommended that students go to school without a bag for 10 days in a year. This will be implemented as a part of reducing the burden of the school bag so that there is no pressure on the students. But SCERT has printed a special book indicating what to do on this fourth Saturday.

This book is designed for all students of class 1 to 10. There are 28 types of activities, and they are given the opportunity to use them according to their ability. Visits to museums, historical places, offices like village panchayats, science experiments, skits on girl child education, kite making, artificial intelligence, maths corner, maths rangoli, model elections, mock assembly, management of financial transactions, based learning will henceforth be mandatory in all types of schools in the state.
