Old Pension Reconciliation is the only solution

RSD- Sircilla news: Rajanna Sircilla district branch of Telangana State United Teachers Federation (TSUTF) has clarified that the Central Government announced the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) instead of CPS. He said that the real fraud lies in not mentioning the cancellation of contributory pension scheme even though it is announced that 60% family pension will be given and it is optional. District President Pakala Shankar Goud demanded that the old pension system of giving 50% pension based on service without paying a single rupee contribution should be revised. There is an additional employee contribution in this UPS compared to the old pension scheme. He said that there is no security due to the investment of employee’s money in the share market, lack of implementation of PRC on pension, there will be no increase in the pension of the employee in the future. He demanded the government to cancel CPS in the state and take steps to restore OPS. Golkonda Sridhar, Gundamaneni Mahender Rao, Ambati Ramesh, Parkala Ravinder participated.
